Music

All children from Kindy to Year 6 received regular weekly classroom music lessons in the Music Room. During these lessons there is a strong focus on all the performing arts with a combination of music, dance and drama incorporated in to every session. All students can explore their creative and performing talents with both solo and class performance opportunities offered throughout the year.

Students in Years 1 to 6, wishing to participate more fully in the musical life at OLGC, may choose to join the extra-curricular School Choir. The school also has a voluntary Liturgical Choir, for Year 3 to Year 6 students. This choir sings at school sacraments and participates in the Sacred Choral section of the Catholic Performing Arts Festival every year.
