Our Lady of Good Counsel School provides co-curricular activities to enhance the education of our students, and to support the Mission of our school along with an excellent educational program.
Individual tuition for students wishing to learn a musical instrument is also available at OLGC.
Lessons take place during the school day after 10.30am and is given by external private tutors who use the school’s premises.

Children from years 3- 6 are invited to participate in after school netball.
Training is undertaken at the school netball courts by volunteer coaches who are usually parents.
Games are held every Saturday during Term 2 & 3.
Each Friday morning before school tennis coaching is offered to all OLGC students. A professional tennis coach, with a lifetime of experience playing the sport, provides an enthusiastic, professional tennis coaching service which teaches kids how to play tennis – a sport for life. Students in Years 1 to 6, wishing to participate more fully in the musical life at OLGC, may choose to join the extra-curricular School Choir. The school also has a voluntary Liturgical Choir, for Year 3 to Year 6 students. This choir sings at school sacraments and participates in the Sacred Choral section of the Catholic Performing Arts Festival every year. There is the opportunity for students in the choir and who learn an instrument to perform at the Catholic Performing Arts Festival as well as at school masses, assemblies and special events.
Creative Artwork offers after school Art classes. The art class that offers more than just art! Set in ambience of patience, positivity and encouragement your child will be in the optimum environment to learn new skills. We believe promoting positivity is key to learning, letting their imaginations flow through their fingers, embracing mistakes and teaching any little artist that imperfections are perfection. Our extensive range will enthral your child from sculpturing, candle making, macrame to painting and much more. This term we will be creating inspirational art on canvas using various techniques and mediums. I look forward to sharing my passion with your child.
Each Tuesday afternoon The Football Center runs soccer clinics on the school oval. Sessions are engaging, challenging and fun, working with professional coaches who pride themselves on being enthusiastic, knowledgeable and most importantly an extraordinary role model.
